What is MultiVision?

MultiVision is an innovative design concept that can simultaneously monitor and record multiple areas or angles of the scene using comprehensive security surveillance systems. Dahua Technology integrates multiple cameras and advanced image processing technology in order to provide a comprehensive and intelligent security surveillance solution.

With the development of the security industry, customers' demand for larger scene monitoring, clearer images, and more intelligent functions that combine with scenes has been growing. Traditional front-end cameras can no longer meet customers' requirements.

To meet the needs of customers, Dahua began developing the first MultiVision camera in 2016 and has been conducting in-depth research on related technologies since then.

The Panoramic Splicing series generally consists of many traditional cameras. It uses multi-lens cameras to obtain clear images and utilizes advanced pixel-level metadata fusion algorithm for image splicing, creating a 180° panoramic image to show more details of the scene and saving both product and labor costs.

Multi-directional cameras support multiple intelligent functions simultaneously, allowing for fewer installation points and adaptability to complex scenes, ultimately leading to cost savings.

The X-spans series products typically consist of a overview channel and a detail channel. By using one or more high-performance DSP chips, the channels can be linked to solve the complex configuration problem of traditional bullet and PTZ camera linkage .
